1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Zinkforge. By accessing or using our products and services, including our Google Workspace™ Add-ons (Mail2Cal, Mail2Ledger), our Chrome Extension (Mail2Follow), and other services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Zinkforge ("we," "us," or "our"). We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Services

Zinkforge provides productivity tools designed to enhance your workflow. Our products include:

  • Mail2Cal: a Google Workspace™ Add-on that uses AI to analyze email content and create calendar events automatically
  • Mail2Ledger: a Google Workspace™ Add-on that uses AI to extract financial data from emails and attachments and organize them in Google Sheets™
  • Mail2Follow: a Chrome Extension that tracks sent emails and uses AI to classify them and generate follow-up draft suggestions, helping you stay on top of unanswered emails

Mail2Cal and Mail2Ledger are Google Workspace™ Add-ons powered by Google's Gemini™ AI. Mail2Follow is a Chrome Extension powered by Anthropic's Claude AI, with its backend hosted on Cloudflare.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our Services at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Services.

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration

  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

  • Transmit any harmful code, viruses, or malicious software
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Services

5. Platform Integrations

5.1 Google Workspace™ (Mail2Cal, Mail2Ledger)

Our Google Workspace™ Add-ons are subject to Google's terms and policies. By using these add-ons, you also agree to comply with:

You may revoke our access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account settings.

5.2 Chrome Web Store (Mail2Follow)

Mail2Follow is distributed through the Chrome Web Store and is subject to the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies . Mail2Follow uses Google OAuth 2.0 for authentication with minimal scopes (openid, email, profile) and does not request Gmail API access. You may remove the extension from your browser at any time.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

The Services and all content, features, and functionality are owned by Zinkforge and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal or internal business purposes. This license does not include:

  • Any right to resell or commercial use of the Services
  • Any collection or use of product listings or descriptions
  • Any derivative use of the Services or their content
  • Any downloading or copying of account information for the benefit of third parties

7. User Data and Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy , which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

You retain all rights to your data. By using our Services, you grant us a limited license to access and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you.

7.1 Data Processing Agreement (GDPR Article 28)

This section constitutes a Data Processing Agreement ("DPA") between you ("Controller") and Zinkforge ("Processor") and applies when you use Mail2Follow's open tracking feature, which involves processing personal data of your email recipients on your behalf.

By enabling open tracking — and accepting the in-product consent modal — you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this DPA. You may withdraw consent and disable tracking at any time from Mail2Follow's settings.

7.1.1 Subject Matter and Nature of Processing

Zinkforge will process personal data on your behalf solely to provide the open tracking functionality: detecting when recipients open tracked emails, filtering bot traffic, and presenting open data in your Mail2Follow dashboard. No processing for any other purpose will take place.

7.1.2 Types of Personal Data and Categories of Data Subjects

  • Data subjects: Recipients of emails you send with open tracking enabled.
  • Personal data processed: Country code (derived from IP address — raw IP never stored); anonymised device fingerprint (one-way SHA-256 hash of IP + User-Agent + server-side salt, irrecoverable); truncated User-Agent string (first 200 characters, stored in analytics log for bot detection); open timestamps; bot classification flag.
  • Recipient email address: Stored only as a one-way SHA-256 hash, exclusively for opt-out verification. Never stored in plaintext.

7.1.3 Processor Obligations

Zinkforge agrees to:

  • Process personal data only on your documented instructions. Enabling open tracking constitutes such instructions.
  • Ensure that persons authorised to process personal data are subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.
  • Implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures in accordance with Article 32 GDPR, including one-way hashing of IP addresses and encryption of data in transit.
  • Not engage a sub-processor without informing you. Current sub-processors: Cloudflare, Inc. (infrastructure, IP geolocation, DDoS protection) and Anthropic, PBC (AI processing of email content for classification and draft generation — not involved in open tracking).
  • Provide reasonable assistance in responding to data subject rights requests (access, rectification, erasure) relating to recipient open tracking data.
  • Delete all recipient open tracking data no later than 365 days after collection, and upon account deletion or written request.
  • Make available to you all information necessary to demonstrate compliance with Article 28 GDPR and allow for and contribute to audits upon reasonable written notice.

7.1.4 Your Obligations as Controller

By enabling open tracking, you confirm and warrant that:

  • You have a lawful basis under applicable data protection law for tracking the opening of emails by your recipients (e.g., legitimate interest in managing business communications).
  • You will not use open tracking in a manner that violates applicable laws, including anti-spam regulations (CAN-SPAM, CASL, ePrivacy Directive) or sector-specific rules applicable to your recipients.
  • You accept full responsibility for compliance with applicable privacy laws in the jurisdictions of your recipients.
  • You will provide recipients with appropriate notice of open tracking where required by applicable law.

8. Fees and Payment

Some aspects of our Services may be provided free of charge, while other features may require payment. Certain Services (such as Mail2Follow) offer a free tier with usage limits (e.g., 15 tracked emails per month) and a paid tier with expanded or unlimited usage. If you use paid Services:

  • You agree to pay all fees and charges associated with your account
  • We reserve the right to change our fees at any time with reasonable notice; price changes do not apply retroactively to periods you have already paid for
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred, including automatic renewals at the end of each billing period
  • You are responsible for all taxes associated with your use of the Services

Payment processing for certain Services may be handled by third-party providers such as Lemon Squeezy, which manages payment processing and applicable tax (including EU VAT) on our behalf.

8.1 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your customer portal (accessible via the link in your purchase receipt) or by contacting us at hi@zinkforge.com. Upon cancellation, your access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period; the subscription will not auto-renew thereafter. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period that has already started.

8.2 Refund Policy

We want you to be confident in your purchase. The following money-back guarantees apply to Mail2Follow paid plans:

  • Annual plan: 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied within 30 days of your initial purchase, contact us for a full refund — no questions asked.
  • Monthly plan: 7-day money-back guarantee on your initial purchase only. After that, monthly fees are non-refundable; you may cancel at any time to stop future charges.
  • Renewals: Refunds apply to your initial purchase only. Auto-renewal payments are not eligible for the money-back guarantee, but you can cancel at any time before the renewal date to avoid the charge. We recommend setting a reminder a few days before your renewal.
  • 14-day Pro trial: The free trial does not require a payment method and ends automatically after 14 days unless you choose to upgrade.

To request a refund, email hi@zinkforge.com from the email address associated with your purchase. Refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.

8.3 EU and UK Consumers — Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital service contract within 14 days of purchase under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, except where you have expressly consented to immediate performance and acknowledged loss of the right of withdrawal. By starting to use Mail2Follow paid features immediately after purchase, you consent to immediate performance of the service. Notwithstanding this consent, the 30-day annual and 7-day monthly money-back guarantees described in section 8.2 apply and exceed the statutory minimum.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

9.1 Service Availability

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZINKFORGE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

9.3 AI-Generated Content

Our Services use artificial intelligence to process information, including Google's Gemini™ AI (for Mail2Cal and Mail2Ledger) and Anthropic's Claude AI (for Mail2Follow). While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content, including calendar events, financial data extraction, email classifications, and follow-up drafts, may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all information before relying on it. We are not liable for any decisions made based on AI-generated content.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Zinkforge and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including:

  • Breach of these Terms
  • Request by law enforcement or government agencies
  • Discontinuance or material modification of the Services
  • Unexpected technical or security issues
  • Extended periods of inactivity
  • Engagement in fraudulent or illegal activities

You may terminate your account at any time by discontinuing use of the Services, revoking our access through your Google Account settings, and/or removing our Chrome Extension from your browser. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Zinkforge operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12.2 Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at hi@zinkforge.com . We will attempt to resolve the dispute informally within 60 days.

12.3 Arbitration

If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved through binding arbitration, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by:

  • Posting the updated Terms on this page
  • Updating the "Last Updated" date
  • Sending an email notification (if you have provided your email address)

Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Services.

14. Miscellaneous

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Zinkforge regarding the Services.

14.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent possible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

14.3 Waiver

No waiver of any term of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
